Lake Manatee SP (Mar 31 - Apr 1)

Mission accomplished. We drive out of the dealer today with our new Regency motorhome with the Envoy following behind. It was quite intimidating to take them out on the road for the first time, but all went very smoothly with no problems. We drove about 30 miles and pulled onto the park. Getting backed in and set up was surprisongly simple and quick. We had some lunch and took a walk down to the lake. This is a great campground with nice, large sites. We left the kayaks at home so we had to be content with fishing from the dock in the evening. We will try to get pictures posted of the new rig and some of the campground tomorrow.

RV World (Mar 30 - 31)

We are here now along side several other rvs outside the service bays sitting in our new Regency watching tv. It is now 8:45 pm and have been here at the dealer since 8:00 am. The Envoy will be finished in the morning and ready to tow behind and we will get our walkthrough. They seem to have done an excellent job prepping. Everything so far look perfect. We will drive up to Lake Manatee SP as soon as we are done here.

Oscar Scherer SP (Mar 29,2010)

We need to be at the RV dealer at 8:00 am and it is almost two hours from our house, so we decided to spend one last night in the pop-up before trading it in on our new motorhome. We packed the Envoy and drove down this morning and pulled in a little after noon. We got set up and drove towards North Jetty and stopped at Pop's for very good burgers. We then headed to the Jetty to see if it would be possible to fish with the terrific wind we were getting. We managed to throw a fly for awhile, but nothing was biting. We saw a couple sheepshead caught, but they would be unlikely to be interested in a fly.
We decided to check out the dealer and see where we would have to go with the pop-up. We drove around the back and spotted our new unit in line to be prepped tomorrow. It was due to be delivered to the dealer from Manatoba sometime today. It needs to be cleaned, but it looked good. The Triple E factory rep drove it down personally and will be there for our walkthrough on Wednesday. There have only been a few sold in the States and the want to make sure the unit is perfect. That works for us. The Envoy gets its tow package installed tomorrow, so we can pull it behind.
