Chassahowitzka River Kayak Fishing (Jan 14)

We went kayaking with Joan's brother Skip and his son Chad. They were using Skip's new Hobie kayaks that are peddled instead of paddled. We caught a lot of fish, but all were either too small to keep or not the eating kind. Most were ladyfish that are very bony, but fun to catch.

We have never kayaked there. Sounds like it was a good day. Did you see a lot of wildlife? I couldn't get any photos?

Hey you guys. Yes, we got a few pictures, but haven't posted them yet. The river is one of the nicest in the state. It is part of a huge wildlife refuge, and the home of a group of whooping cranes that have been taught to migrate there.
